Speaker: Mario Krenn, PhD, Associate Professor of Management at Southeastern Louisiana University
Dr. Mario Krenn is Associate Professor of Management at Southeastern Louisiana University where he teaches Business Strategy. Before continuing his graduate education, Dr. Krenn was worked in industry for a decade in Europe. He served in a quality control and logistics role for a company in the Chech Republic, and served as a Market Analyst for Samsung Electronics in Vienna.
Dr. Krenn grew up in a small town in Austria. He received B.A. in Business Administration from Bundeshandelsakademie, Rohrbach, AUSTRIA, and an M.S. Applied Economics at Johannes Kepler Universität, Linz, AUSTRIA. He earned an MBA from Southeastern, and a PhD in Management from LSU.
An expert in corporate governance, Dr. Krenn is a prolific scholar. During his relatively brief tenure at SLU, he has published 11articles in academic journals, and, has presented 27 papers at academic conferences.
Though his native language is German, he speaks fluent English and Japanese.
